Older grandchildren who never say Thank Your for Christmas or Birthday chequesAgree totally, a bit of gratitude would be nice. I recall as a child no I didn't write thank you letters for a simple card but if aunt Bessie sent a 10 shilling postal order, that dates me, a thank you letter was certainly required.ViewDate:

My Mother's WillI've just been on this trip myself. My mother died earlier this year, estate worth around £500,000 my eldest brother via various means took control. I got £15k, he got a 3 bed house and the rest of the money but then he's always been a devious person. Thought about fighting it but it's just one more thing to think about at 3am and I'm not sure I need that in my life , got enough problems as it is.ViewDate:

Talking on the phone during a family meal. OK ....or not?No, extremely bad manners. When the kids were at home mealtimes were a time for chat, catch up on the day and if I'd spent 3 hours in a kitchen. preparing a meal I want it to be savoured. And even worse people on the phone in restaurants! I have lost count of the times I had seen couples dining together both on their phones texting and not speaking to each other!ViewDate:

Just joined so I'm introducing myself.Just joined, useless with tech so I apologize in advance, let's take it from there! Live alone, health restricts travel but there's many worse off than me, although on a cold damp winter's day I might put up an argument against that.ViewDate:

New member looking for guidanceI feel your pain with the sciatica, if only it was just that! My late grandmother always used to say, 'as long as you've got ya health!' Well, that's me buggered!
