Currently not working due to health conditions. I have two grown up sons who are living with me which helps if I can get them to do the occasional chore! I am interested in science fiction, natural phenomena, space, wildlife, nature, paranormal, reiki, meditation, aromatherapy and crystals. I have a varied taste in music, enjoy reading, photography and crafts including painting, card making and knitting. -

Will you download the tracing app when it becomes available? It really depends on what information you can input. Also many people, including my parents, don't use smartphones so there will be no way for them to inform or be informed via an app. I have the Covid-19 app installed at the moment but, whilst the idea is good, it doesn't allow you to input details of current health conditions so it's not necessarily going to give an accurate picture.ViewDate:

Are you happy to remain opted-in for organ donation?I've carried an organ donor card for years, although as I get older and the list of things I have wrong with me increases, I'm not sure anyone would want any of my organs. But I'm happy if there's any bits they can use after I'm gone, it's not as if I'll be needing them anymore.ViewDate:

Is July too soon for shops to be stocking Christmas products?Far too early for Christmas displays. They used to be planning and building displays around now when I worked in the garden centre and by the time they were unveiled to the public around the end of October/beginning November we were all pretty sick of the sight of it all but still had ages to go. Buying bits all year round in the sales seems a good idea if you have large numbers to buy for or on a tight budget, but you don't need Christmas trees and tinsel around to do that. Mind you, we have fireworks all year round for any excuse under the sun other than Bonfire Night and Easter eggs in the shops not long after Christmas so I suppose it doesn't surprise me, if anything it saddens me that everything is so commercialised and makes it hard on those where money is tight.ViewDate:

Do you still use cheques as payment?I use cheques to pay the bills: gas, electricity, water, council tax and credit card etc. My son in his 20s also does the same. Online banking is useful only while you have a good and secure internet connection.ViewDate:

Which activity do you find most restful? To be honest, any or rather all of the above activities would be fine if it means I can switch off from the things that cause my stress and anxiety to kick off. Trouble is you can't select them all in a vote ha haViewDate:

Refugees from CalaisI agree. Seems absurd that they haven't identified the very young children first. It can be hard to visually determine sometimes especially when I think back that my eldest son had a full beard by the age of 15. Surely, providing them with a basic health check, including dental will not only ensure that they are cared for if they require treatment, but also provide a more accurate age than the relatives in this country apparently know.ViewDate:

Will you continue to use scented candles?I have loads of scented candles. Funnily enough I rarely light them because they have a nice fragrance as they are, unlit. There is also a lot to be said about aromatherapy and certain scents having a positive effect on people. I have the windows open as much as possible and the back door too, weather permitting, so I'm not too worried about indoor air pollution. I also have reed diffusers. I do try to avoid the spray types and the plug in fresheners (cutting back on electricity usage!) I don't have a problem with other people using whatever they choose.ViewDate:

Will you be buying any Cadbury Creme Eggs this year?Still buy the odd one occasionally but they're not the same as they were. Smaller for sure. I prefer other chocolate though. -
