Do we need a new law to ensure waiting staff get their tips? There is inherent unfairness in tipping as only front of house staff benefit. Those that have prepared the food gain nothing. Restaurant workers should be paid a fair wage, tipping should be scrapped and the service charge should be included in the bill. If we need legislation to achieve this then so be it.ViewDate:

Would you be happy with a scaled-down wedding?Sadly in today's society it's all about the wedding day, a concept I don't understand. Marriage is about spending your life together, the wedding is just one day. 42% of marriages end in divorce, May be if those getting married weren't just enamoured by the lure of a huge wedding but think about their life together the UK divorce rate would be lower? It takes just 5 people to get married, the celebrant, the couple and 2 witnesses. I would have been happy with that, I just wanted to be married to my husband. Still happily married 35 years on.ViewDate:

Will you take the Covid-19 vaccine when you are offered it?As I am only 60, have no medical conditions and no longer work for the NHS, I shall be way down the list. Not holding my breath.ViewDate:

Should noisy snacks be banned from the cinema?None of these comments compare to the older lady in the Cinema wearing overpowering, vile smelling perfume when I took my mum-in-law to see Andre Rieu at the cinema. It spoilt the whole experience continually getting wafts of her fragrance. Think on ladies not all of us like your perfume. Don't wear it in enclosed spaces!ViewDate:

Should grandparents be free to spoil grandchildren as much as they wish?I am of the opinion that, parents who are unhappy with the care provided by the child's grandparents should find and pay for professional childcare. The grandparents would then be just that, grandparents. Instead of being unpaid childminders. There is however lots of research outlining the benefits of children spending time with grandparents. As the saying goes: "you pays your money and you takes your choice". Free childcare comes at a price.ViewDate:

Have you tried HRT?I wouldn't consider HRT. My mother used it for 8 or more years and developed endometrial cancer making both me and my sister high risk. The menopause is a natural phenomenon suffered by women around the world. Better information on health, fitness and diet would be best for the majority, saving HRT for those at lower risk with extreme symptoms. This would also help our ailing health services.ViewDate:
