Tips for adopting a rescue dogHi, my son adopted a rescue dog a week before Christmas, rspca thought he was about 3 years old.. apparently he had been with 25 other dogs. Very anxious to start with took to my son right away. They have took things slowly with him and I had him stay with me for a couple of days and he was lovely. No problem, slept all night. Enjoyed his walks. He is a cross Chinese crested. But he does havefur so not bald. They are still giving him training gently. So far he hasn't really been left on his own. I will keep you informed. But he is a joy and so funny with his little ways.ViewDate:

Do you buy a daily newspaper or do you read the news online?I do buy a daily newspaper as well as a local one. I did purchase the one which is closing wasn't impressed with the layout and a number of other issues. I thought the metro which we get free on the bus we use was a lot lot better.ViewDate:

How are you finding your iPad?Hi I love my I pad my daughter purchased it around 3 years ago. I also have a laptop. Which I seldom use now. One Sunday my son came and wanted to look for something on my laptop, to give you a smile as I got it going I started to swipe the screen, my son started to laugh and said mom your not on your I pad now, it just goes to show how much I use it. Even more now I'm on silver surfers.ViewDate:

Getting out of the houseHello I'm new to these forums, but here goes. We have a nice wether spoons close to where I live, but also our local library runs a morning class for our age with quizzes and talks just for a couple of hours. We also have a couple of churches that run different clubs to cater for more or less everyone. You do have to make the effort and enquire what is going on in your area. Hope this is of help.ViewDate:
