A final act of kindnessThat is a very interesting connection you have there Wiffler. i was raised as a weekend rancher here in south Texas. Witnessing and even causing animals to die was a part of everyday life. Dad and Granpa had cows and bulls they had relationships with but when it came market time, they got processed. I hope you get to let your pet go into the cosmos to wait for you to come play again with him. I'm sure you will be able to.ViewDate:

A final act of kindnessWell written story Dave. I feel like I know your Golden Holly. I am convinced some dogs like Golden Retrievers can do math. That's why she calculated how to make you stop the mower. Bit of a psychologist too that Hols! I always hoped to have a Golden Retriever but alas it never happened. I hope you keep writing about Hols . Did she have a boyfriend? Did she ever let you know that she wanted a specific thing or activity? How was she when riding in the car? How did she get on with other animals? I'm in South Texas and will be 61 in a few weeks. Got drummed out of the attorney business for suing a politically powerful doctor so now I'm poor and but for my wife would be living in a ditch somewhere.ViewDate:

Anyone interested in paranormal experiences?Hey there Aqua. Thank you for your invitation . My wife doesn't get into chatting so you are stuck with me. is this forum ok to maintain the chat? I'm up late as I had to clean the kitchen drain with a thing called a sewer snake and the exercise boosted my energy. Too bad my ghost didn't get involved ! We are about to get hit with a deluge. How's your weather?ViewDate:

I would like to make new friends for general conversation onlyWow Gran ! Slow down; I got tired just reading everything you do! Geesh; I'm turning 61 soon but no way I could keep up with you. Just kidding about the slow down though. You Go lady. It'll be great when you can post some photos here. Very impressive activity list you have there. I once practiced law here in Texas where I'm from but soon ran afoul of the politics of law and I withdrew to manufacture domestic wrought iron products. I once led a group of professors and students on a law school student exchange program. Whole lot of kissing is all I remember.ViewDate:

Misuse of wordsExtreme precision. Extreme perfection. Excessive precision. Some work, some do not. "Almost exactly" can be a nuanced meaning relative to scale. Perfection isn't necessary for a key to unlock a lock. An imperfect key can work perfectly.ViewDate:

Hello, I'm Lou.........Hi from Texas Louise! One of my favorite Aunts was named Louise WEll actually Louisa. I'm 5th generation American of Mexican ancestry. So anyway life has been an interesting Chinese blessing for me !? I have a degree in Industrial Arts Education so I have many interests. I also like to read non-fiction about economics and politics. Which is weird since I despise feeling the need to know about those things and would much rather build a cabinet. I have a collection of 35 antique and modern sewing machines but haven't played with them in a while.ViewDate:

Hi from ScotlandHi Jane! Congrats on your longevity! I'm turning 61 around late November. I'm on the Texas Gulf Coast. I'm 5th generation Native Hispanic. Mostly raised by Germans and Anglos via public school though. I'm an odd ball due to my Wide experiences which include farming and ranching and being a mechanic and lastly a lawyer which would be solicitor/barrister where your from. Most of my racemates shun me due to my appreciation of Anglo English and English and German cultures. Although lately I'm under attack on all fronts! I also cook; as Grandad owned a grocery store during the depression. I wasn't around then, but got he benefit of all those skills and exposure to ingredients through mom.ViewDate:

Pen palsIt's an interesting proposition Meeka. I just got on here a few days ago. I was looking for a chat room but I haven't found one yet where cliques don't develope STRONG political views and being well read is looked down upon. Pen Paling runs the risk of exposing ones email and if one deals in proprietary matters that is an unreasonable risk. Plus via chat; assuming open minds, one can get a variety of responses and insights on issues that can be very valuable.ViewDate:

Anyone interested in paranormal experiences? We have a ghost in our House in Texas USA. One evening my wife lost her contact lens and we looked and looked all night for it. In the morning the ghost had placed it on the sink where we would see it . I thought I caught a couple of glimpses of the gent but it's been a long while or maybe I take him for granted now. I forget why I knew he was present but I remember often telling my wife that I suspected we had a ghost due to several "small incidents." I think he liked that I prayed. -
