Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Left Wing and Socialist media are as bent as any other media. They just show what they want you to see. It is the British Constitution that upholds the laws of the land and not the current government. They are there to represent the will of the people, they are not there to lie to the people and sign away the people's rights. Let me ask you this, did Ted Heath inform the people of the UK that he wanted to sign away all that British Tradition of Democracy before he did so? You were there at the time and so was I and I tell you he DID NOT. As such, he did not have the right to commit us to a federal state of Europe and we should not allow the unelected Bilderbergers of the EU to make rules and regulations for the British Nation. The Human Rights legislation is NOT an EEC document. The EEC has not existed for many years, it is now the EU. You, Beth, are living in the past and clutching at straws if you think the EU is a good thing. There is infighting between the member states over the Immigrant crisis. Frau Merkel, who thinks she is in charge, says one thing and does another. She wants to share her immigrants with the rest of us and we don't want them. Even her own subjects are demonstrating against her policy and now she has backed down leaving all the migrants a stateless, angry, mob. Rioting at the slightest hiccup. What a damning spectacle for EU solidarity. You may be fooled by the propaganda but I am not.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave? If you are thinking of voting to stay in the EU, this is what you will be signing up to. Straight from the horses mouth, what they think of us Brits. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/11999030_1640667002841931_2531260986567240764_n.jpg?oh=f9c979bb0100942d9e3d4655abcdbeda&oe=565DE6E7ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Bethmac, don't you read the news? Don't you research the latest topics on social media? Don't you see what the mainstream media are spouting in support of the UK loading our already overstretched public services with migrants? We are supposed to be the sensible ones, being of a certain age, so it is our duty to guide the younger generations in the true ways of being British. COME ON folks, we are British. We are not just another star on someone elses flag, WE ARE THE BRITISH and we can trade with anyone. We currently pay into the EU, wait for it, £55,000,000 per DAY and get back just shy of half that in benefits and grants that go to educating the next generation in pro-european universities staffed by EU funded tutors, spouting the pro EU gospel. Ask yourself why the EU make it so difficult for member countries to resign from the "Federation of European States". It's because they want to make the whole of europe a Federal State, no borders, no individual parliaments, just a huge unwieldy multicultural dinosaur that is bent on destroying every member before finally imploding into a communist BLACK HOLE. Do you want that for your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Do you want them to become just a number? We have not officially joined the EU, but successive weak British governments have fooled the population into thinking we have. Ted Heath signed the original treaty without the asking the people which, under the British Constitution, was unlawful, and he should, along with all subsequent Prime Ministers, be charged with Treason against the British Monarchy and the British people. We must vote NO. Any other vote will be a vote for a federal state and the abolision of Great Britain and her Monarchy.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Agreed Sir. I for one will not want to travel to the Republic of Europe when most member states are bankrupt and flooded with North African migrant mobs.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Your point is....? The question asked is IN or OUT. You have come down squarely on the fence. You say we are all buying it, but what is "it"?ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?English values are honesty, a moral outlook, Christian roots and are not easily taken in. Maybe you should read your history books.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Turns out they are the same as the Greek ones. They had a referendum and it was NO. However the goverment caved in from pressure by Mad Merkel and her henchmen and changed it to Yes. Very similar to our own government as will be proved in the near future.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave? What you will not find is ANYONE who has conquered these islands for over 900 years, we are the founding nation of democracy and now you want us to let someone else make our laws, dictate who we can and can't let into our country. Those that you speak of as "migrants from all over the world" did not come here as friends and, for the most part, came here as warriors, many of whom, like the Romans, left again. Very few remained and did not change our way of life significantly. They may have added to our gene pool but did not dilute it to the point of extinction. We also did not try to dilute the gene pools of the nations that we governed under the British Empire. After all Indians are still Indians, Chinese are still Chinese, they were not called British but given the improvement of running their own countries democratically.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave? It would seem, harborneboy, that the responders do not agree with you. My father and Grandfather fought for our freedoms and the EU want to ride roughshod over all of Europe's population. Look what they have done to Greece. Made it impossible for the government to function, bankrupted the country to the point where the have had to sell their airports to the "Mighty" Germans and have now saddled them with all those migrants because of the open borders and "We welcome everyone" policy of national genocide.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Since penning this missive, Judymum, which is quite eloquent, things have moved on a pace and situations have evolved. Angela Merkel has now realised the error of inviting all those migrants, I cannot equate them with refugees as the vast majority are young men, those migrants have begun to riot, they are disobedient of the host nation's laws and totally without gratitude for the offers of help. They are not content to register in the country of first landfall and only want to rape the richer countries of their wealth and give nothing in return. They have given the "Refugee" name a pasting such that there is little sympathy left for the real thing. The main stream media are not helping by ramming pictures of the women and children, when they can find any, down our throats in the name of sensationalism. The little lad pictured washed up on the Turkish shore has been proven a staged picture. Yes, he was dead but it was as a consquence of his own father's greed as a "People Traficker" who lived and worked in Turkey, a safe country, for 3 years before deciding to send his wife and children to their deaths on one of his own unseaworthy boats. He should be branded a murderer, not a gieving father who only wanted a safe life for his family.ViewDate:

Should Britain stay in the EU or is now the time to leave?Iceland is a much smaller country that the UK but does very nicely thank you in trading with the EU even though not a member. Our North Sea fisheries are just recovering from the beating they took when the EU said we had to share it all with every Tom, Dick and Jose, and the Spanish fleets decimated our fishing grounds and now we have NO fishing industry. Similarly, we have NO mining industry, NO motor industry of our own and NO steel manufacturing left, all gone to the Germans as dictated by the EU. The UK is the largest NETT contributer to the EU but they have a trading surplus with us. The EU needs us more than we need the EU. We can export to anywhere in the world, but our governments historically have been too scared to say enough is enough and we are leaving. All the EU does is posture about "Fining" the UK for this and "Sanctioning" that. We have governed ourselves for 980 years and were the founding nation of Democracy and we SHOULD NOT bow down to anyone, let alone the crumbling EU. Remember William Shakespeare? and Lady "Macbeth-Out, Out damned spot" and thhat is what we should be voting for OUT, OUT, OUT.
