teejay06's bio
I am a single retired man living in Derby. I have two dogs, a Cavalier King Charles called Molly and Rupert, a Working Cocker Spaniel. They are devoted to each other and they eat, play and sleep together.. They are my life and I love them to bits.. I have a nice car and a small caravan which is ideal for me, a friend and the dogs and we have wonderful trips away up in the Peak District and also to Skegness where the dogs love to play on the beach and Rupert play in the sea. I also love my garden and enjoy pottering about out there except now-a-days I am very limited as to what I can manage due to ill health. The garden is really for Rupert to play catch in! -

Should WW2 veteran NHS fundraiser Tom Moore be knighted?Hi JE, I am truly sorry that I have offended anyone, not least yourself. I certainly wasn't intending to come across that way but I agree, reading what I wrote through again, I can completely understand what you are saying. I would like to add that I did agree with another comment on this subject, that a Knighthood should only be the start of Captain Tom's recognition, she suggested that every City should have a road named after him, also on new housing developments to name a road after him as a lasting tribute to a marvelous man, Sir Tom Moore Way does have a lovely ring to it and in the generations to come they would be so very proud of their grandad, great grandad,. great great grandad etc. A knighthood would be a truly deserved privilege but naming Roads, buildings etc after him will be a living memory. I hope that this now corrects the impression I gave earlier. Once gain, I apologise for any offense that I caused over the achievements of an amazing man.ViewDate:

Should WW2 veteran NHS fundraiser Tom Moore be knighted?Love it. Imagine how proud his daughter and any other family member would be to know that his name be used this way. Here in Derby there is a very busy road, the A52 and it is called 'Brian Clough Way' so why not Sir Tom Moore Way? It sounds good, doesn't it?ViewDate:

Should WW2 veteran NHS fundraiser Tom Moore be knighted?Yes, I wondered that. Whoever it was, doesn't deserve the right to live in our Country when it was such brave people, like Tom , who fought for it in WW2. Their vote was disgusting.ViewDate:

Should WW2 veteran NHS fundraiser Tom Moore be knighted? An amazing man, one of the few who genuinely loves his Country and the National Health Service. He so deserves a Knighthood and no doubt our Monarch, Her Majesty the Queen who has spent her entire life dedicated to our wonderful Country, would welcome the opportunity of honouring Captain Tom and awarding him a Knighthood.ViewDate:

Win ONE Of THREE Copies of Les Misérables on DVDI would love to win this. My health prevents me from making trips to theatre's in London now but I have always wanted to see Les Mis. I love the music from it, to have this DVD would be so wonderful. Sadly, I never saw it on the television either so I really would love to win one of these. Fingers crossed and prayers I think.ViewDate:

Keep your blood pressure in check for Know Your Numbers WeekVery interesting and informative article, thank you. After a life long bp in the 'perfect zone' I am now experiencing readings that are jumping all over the place, up and down. I am now checking my bp once a day and recording the reading for when I next see my GP. It is really interesting to see from your graph exactly when bp is classed as high and when its low. Thank you.ViewDate:
