Brexit - what happens next?Even Mogg says it will take at least 50 years before we benefit. Have you not researched the consequences? There is no deal better than the one we currently enjoy as members of the EU.ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next?So you think we'd walk away without paying our debts? If you buy a car on hire purchase can you stop paying and keep the car? Would anyone lease you a car again? If we default on our agreement with the largest trade organisation, no-one would offer us any trade deal at all. Maybe you should stop listening to Farage and Moggy. Even Mogg says we'll be okay in 50 years.ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? What could be more democratic than allowing the people to vote for their future? Of course, if you're taken in by the lies of the Express, Mail or Sun, then there's no hope!ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? We've always had sovereignty - otherwise we would have had the euro by now. Not every EU law is voted in by Parliament. We cannot trade under WTO rules. Do please research what that means! https://news.sky.com/story/traffic-chaos-and-school-dinners-at-risk-in-no-deal-brexit-kent-council-warns-11573490ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next?Even Rees-Mogg says it may well take over 50 years for things to improve - we'll all be dead then - and do you want to risk that for your children and grandchildren? Please research what leaving with no deal would mean - and I don't mean reading the Express/Mail/Sun which is where it seems you get your news from. We cannot revert to WTO rules as we are members of the WTO through our membership of the EU. Every trade agreement would have to be renegotiated and that takes years. We've had no problems as members of the EU, only huge advantages, so why on earth would we want to leave the biggest trade organisation on the planet?ViewDate:

Are you concerned about the economic impact of Brexit?Thank you for responding. Fortunately I wrote an email to Silversurfers and was unblocked. It just goes to show what a contentious issue Brexit is, which has unfortunately divided the country, and families. It's the worst thing that's happened in my lifetime and I'm dreadfully depressed about it.ViewDate:

Are you concerned about the economic impact of Brexit?I commented on this post on the Silversurfers FB group as I am totally opposed to Brexit. I wasn't rude at all, just stated a different point of view. I discovered this morning that I have been blocked from commenting on that post - or any other! Democratic? I don't think so. Apparently if your opinion differs you are blocked. I'm absolutely outraged.ViewDate:

Have you changed your mind?I'll never vote Conservative again. Theresa May is a heartless witch.
