Should cannabis be legalised for recreational use?Cannibis should be legalised for all uses. Many people would benefit from the proven health benefits without having to worry about obtaining it illegally. The battle is lost as far as growing and selling it is concerned and watching a couple of police series on TV shows how much time and effort is now being wasted on shutting the stable door long after the horse has bolted. Those who take it now may even be discouraged if they can't get the thrill of backstreet deals and have to buy it from a legitimate supplier knowing they are paying taxes too.ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum? We are supposed to be a United Kingdom and have acted as such for centuries. Until recent years Scotland didn't have this independent attitude any more than the rest of the UK. We are four countries each with something to offer yet suddenly Scotland wants to be rid of the UK. What next, a Trump wall? Save the Shetlands? Stop oppressing the Orkneys? How far will the separation go? Should every island around the UK be independent? We know some people in Cornwall want independence so maybe all counties should be independent? How far could this go?ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum?Scotland already have massive gains from the UK regarding financial benefits for students and the elderly that we don't have in England for example. To have another referendum is really wrong on all levels. Do we now expect that every time there is a vote on anything that isn't what was hoped for we all go back to the polls again? Should we have a re-run of the last election because we don't like the result we got? Surely any result of a referendum should stand and not be subject to repetitive voting until the result satisfies the likes of Nicola Sturgeon.ViewDate:

Immigration - what are your views? At school we were taught that refugees should seek help in the first safe country they arrived at so why are Europe insisting we offer asylum to all and sundry. Australia and New Zealand are aware they are separate countries and do not automatically have the right to live in either place despite sharing a language. They both operate an immigration system that requires immigrants to have jobs or be workers in businesses where the local population can't fill the vacancies. Why can't we do the same? Sorry, I forgot. We can't do it because the elected government is ignoring our wishes and doesn't govern the country. They are just yes-men of Europe who insist they can change Europe from within the European Community but fail dismally.
