Brexit - what happens next?Colin Huttley, the EU is a lot more democratic than the UK Look what is happening here. Johnson, or is it Cummings pulling his strings, is acting like a dictator and suppressing all opposing views in his own party and trying to silence the elected Parliament. Surely you don’t condone that?ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next?Colinhuttley, I’m more worried about the rise of right wing dictatorship in the UK. Have you looked at our own Government lately? Can you not see how Brexit has given right wing extremists a voice here in the UK?ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? The Scottish Referendum was set up properly with a minimum percentage necessary for it to be acted upon as per our Government’s signature to The Venice Agreement. The majority was therefor not large enough for Scottish Independence to be carried. However, in the 2016 EU referendum no minimum requirement was set by the Government (thus not in accordance with the Venice Agreement) and a very similar majority as in the Scottish referendum was decided to be acted upon. Do you think that’s fair and why do you think the Government dealt with these 2 referenda so differently and also hide this fact from the public?ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? Our problems with fishing are not the fault of the EU. The UK Government chose to allow fishermen to sell on their fishing quotas which they were allocated and these are now owned either by a few very large British companies or by foreign boats. No other EU countries have done this. Even if we leave the EU, we cannot now take those quotas back. Also, it was the responsibility of Nigel Farage to attend meetings on fishery matters in the EU and he didnt bother to attend hardly any of those meetings meetings, even though he had no hesitation in accepting his salary. Just google this information if you don’t believe me. Him and many of the others screaming for Brexit at any cost have played us for fools. None of them will suffer the consequences of Brexit in fact many of them are busy making money gambling on the fall of the £ etc. Look up how much money Mark Francois, a big Brexit backer, has made out of Brexit.ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next?We should withdraw article 50 and remain before any more damage is done to the UK. Can’t believe there are still people wanting to leave without a deal. If you don’t care about the implications for yourself, you should care about the vulnerable and poor people in our society who will be very badly hit.ViewDate:

Does the future look brighter? No it doesn’t. Brexit is a disaster for this country and everyone except the rich. I am ashamed of the way this country is treating our EU neighbours who have moved to this country over the years to live and work. This Government is beneath contempt!ViewDate:

Has Theresa May got the right financial balance for pensioners?I am totally disgusted. Ripping off the pensioners now as they are an easy target. Why are people voting for Theresa May and the Tory party? We are definitely not all well off. I am 70 this year and still working and will have to do so indefinitely. I've never claimed anything from the State and only have my State Pension and a half share of my home including a small business with my daughter. Worried about what the future will hold for her now!ViewDate:
