What kind of birds have you seen in your garden today?Yes, squirrels and I am overrun with the crows, jackdaws and magpie's this year. Its has put off alot of my little visitors including my nuthatches and woodpeckers. I am wondering if anyone has used the cages to cover ground feeder's helping to prevent the bigger birds complete takeover?ViewDate:

Vegetable PatchesI have lost 12 marigold plants to the little darlings. I am out chasing them by moonlight with a torch. I feed the hedgehogs and they developed a very selective diet----dried meal worms only. I dont use slug pellets because of the wildlife, so, I have to be my own garden predator. The neighbours have turned into David Attenborough like commentator's informing on how the local nut is failing in the slug "rescue" trail.ViewDate:

What kind of birds have you seen in your garden today?Like many of us I feed the birds, but it aint 2pence a bag anymore, lol. I have a sparrow hawk that visited today and stayed long enough for me to get some picture's, but he caught a sparrow. They are beautiful birds and have to live and feed young, but it is gross. Wish I lived in disney land, lol.ViewDate:

just joinedI love all your comments and love how we are all up to different things. The world can be a bit problematic at times, but its the little things that help us through the rough patches. I have just started painting in water colour and inks--Mmm, perhaps "painting" is a big claim at the moment, but I know what its supposed to be even if others dont seem to see my efforts in the same way, lol. Enjoy the sun where ever you are.ViewDate:

Disabled Bath InstallersI would suggest that you contact social services who may be able to help with the cost. They have a small home adaptations grant that they may be able to dip into for you. They may be able to help with company information too. have you tried the list of vetted workers the local council have? Ring trading standards to ask if they can help with information on a company before you make a final decision and check out web reviews.ViewDate:

Has anybody had a doctor lie to cover a mistake?I would suggest that you ask your GP to see a specialist for a second opinion first. If you feel you have a problem regarding your treatment then you can have your case looked at by the patient experience team at your local hospital and if this doesn't work out, or, you dont accept the outcome of the patient experience team you can go to the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman and/or the General Medical Council. You can find addresses and contact numbers on line. If you go through something called healthwatch I think they offer patient representatives too. good luckViewDate:

What am I doing wrong?I am sorry you feel this way, but my belief is that happiness is not a realistic permanent state to pursue because it doesn't exist. Its temporary by its very nature and its purpose is to give you motivation enabling you to get through the"everyday". Try a kind of contentment and count the the things you have. Many would love to be in your position, even boredom can be an enviable luxury. When you have lifes essentials and not living in fear of things like domestic violence, bullying, homelessness and war you are very lucky. This might sound harsh and I dont mean it to, but try and not focus on the I, you have many skills and talents that others may find use for which in turn could lead to new adventure's. This is is just one way of looking at things and i could be very wrong, but it has helped me. Its not easy, so, I wish you lots of luck. xViewDate:

What’s the best way to complain?I start by getting information down in a written form then you have a record of what is said by both parties incase it escalates to ombudsman level. Sometimes an advice organisation gets more notice taken of it than at the individual level. It can provide independent evidence of all correspondence and events plus it is up to date on legislation. It saves time if your records are updated as things progress.ViewDate:

Should the government be spending tax payers money on EU Leaflets with a one sided view?I feel that the government should put for and against, but declare the position it is taking.
