Countdown to disasterIt is cause and effect and yes humans have greatly accelerated the process since the beginning of the industrial revolution. The problem with getting action in part is that even though in climate time this rate of rapidity of warming has never before occurred, it is still at a rate that is not obvious to those unfamiliar with the science. Humans generally have difficulty responding to threats that are not immediate to their personal lives due to the way we evolved.ViewDate:

What if Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination this July?Probably the only thing I can see that is good about a Trump or Cruz nomination for that matter is that either one is probably easier to beat for Sanders or Clinton. Either Trump or Cruz as president would cause America to reel backwards again and end up even worse that the G.W. Bush era. If Trump does not win the republican nomination outright, I suspect he will simply run as an independent.
