Should it be legal to require females to wear high heels at work?Who makes these laws? What rubbish. I loved my heels but with arthritis in my knees can only wear them on special occasions. Comfort should take precedence. It should be a matter of choice, a low heel can still look smart Surely a bit of common sense is needed here?ViewDate:

Do you approve of dummies?I agree with both sides. Our first son didn't take to a dummy - we only realised years later that he was tongue tied. If it had been noticed when he was a baby it would have saved a lot of angst. Our 2nd son loved his dummy, when number 1 lost his first tooth we told number 2 that the tooth fairy had taken his dummy. Big mistake, he found it difficult to get to sleep without it and was never really the same child but nearly 40 years ago there was a lot of disapproval. Our grandchildren had dummies and were happy, contented children. It was a struggle for a couple of them to give them up. I don't really like them but see their use. What I hate is seeing them in family photos! One granddaughter sucked her thumb & that brings its own problems, it used to get quite raw sometimes and you can't throw it away.
