Which activity do you find most restful? No red thumbs down from me Lionel though I must confess that I spend more time on my knitting and reading than on prayer.ViewDate:

Which activity do you find most restful?I actually find knitting slightly more relaxing than reading; for me it usually leads to a good night's sleep.ViewDate:

Thinning Hair in WomenI'm trying Viviscal at present with some slight success. The makers say that you need to be taking it twice per day for six months to a year before you will see noticeable difference. At present I am in my fourth month of usage and I have to say that it will need to be successful as it is very expensive. Good luck!ViewDate:

The Chilcot ReportThank you for reminding of this topic. I feel that following the fall-out from Brexit this report may well take a back seat as far as the population as a whole is concerned. Whether or not there are prosecutions remains to be seen.ViewDate:

Why do some people still cling to religion?Couldn't agree more Lionel. So sad that millions live their daily lives without this knowledge.ViewDate:

On trend: adult colouring booksCan't work up any enthusiasm for this hobby at all. I've tried it and found myself losing interest very quickly. I'll just have to stick with the knitting and needlework.ViewDate:

Are you worried about Tata's Steel option on pension change?Completely agree Bilbo. It amounts to theft by big business in cahoots with Government. I recall that when Allied Steel & Wire went down in Cardiff about fifteen years ago, the employees, some of whom had contributed for up to forty years, were facing having to retire on state pension. I don't know how they fared in the end but in my naivety I thought pensions were sacrosanct. Just shows how little I know on the subject.ViewDate:

Are you worried about Tata's Steel option on pension change?Hi Wannabeeyoung - I'm worried about the whole Tata /Port Talbot thing as a close family member who has a young family works there. Personally I don't think that the government will take this one on as it would set a precedent for all the other companies who are struggling with their pension scheme deficits. The country just couldn't afford it. However, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.ViewDate:

House plant pestsUse a weak solution of any of the usual sprays to be found in garden centres for dealing with whitefly; spray the best place to do it is by an open kitchen window to (a) avoid inhaling the spray and (b) let the little 'nasties' fall onto the draining board where they can be easily swilled away. This works every time and you'll only have to do it once or twice per year.ViewDate:

New here! Hello there!Hi, I too joined recently and this is my first post. I'm looking forward to becoming more familiar with moving around the site but have already spent quite a bit of time looking at the many interesting forum topics and responses. Haven't had the courage to start my own yet, but hope to do so soon.ViewDate:

Do you feel lonely?I enjoy my solitude and would find it unbelievably difficult if I were to have to share my home. However I must admit that holidays are now a problem, especially evening entertainment. I -
