Are hospital trusts cashing in on the sick?It is a sign of the times we live in, when hospitals can charge for parking something is very wrong. They are supposed to be caring for the sick not penalising them. If parking in hospitals is difficult then they should provide park and ride free. Anyone going to a hospital is not going for fun, its because they have to.ViewDate:

Is Climate Change really happening? The food shortages can be easily resolved by reducing meat eating and increasing the production of people food instead of fuel food. For example Rape is one of the most grown crops in the UK yet it is mostly used as a fuel. It cannot be digested by humans unless genetically modified. Yet vegetables can be eaten by most humans with very little effort. Don't believe what the greedy politicians say.ViewDate:

Is Climate Change really happening?I believe global warming to be a natural occurrence but effected by human activity. However I think that politicians are using irrational fears about it to make money from people. Putting taxes on fictitious causes of Global warming is just another form of theft, it will never change anything. When looked at, the time span of change no one alive today will see the great changes the " experts" say will happen. Most detrimental changes to the world we see around us are caused by Industry and Industrial Farming trying to make more money. Nothing will change this as MONEY rules today.ViewDate:

Do you think we’re facing chaos now we’re leaving the EU?The French didn't do a good job anyway, however with the money saved we can upgrade our border controls. We don't seem to have any now. As for fixing the EU, it is impossible to change the way Eurocrats think. Latest greatest idea is reduce power of kettles and toaster to save fuel, they don't know it take the same energy but just takes longer. We are better off without that kind of thinking.ViewDate:

Online recipes for DiabeticsHi, I`m 69 and diabetic type 2, 400 days ago I started a low carb lifestyle. It was a complete change for me and took a little getting used to but I found 2 things helped me a lot. 1. I bought a soup maker. I know its easy to make soup in a pan but how many can be bothered? In a soup maker its even easier, chop whichever veg you like put it in the machine add stock or water to level, choose smooth or chunky, switch on and in 25 mins you are having really nice soup. Rinse out, put away for tomorrow. 2. I use cheese sauce to make fantastic veg bakes. My favourite is Brocolli and cauliflower just carbs and fat, best sugar reading ever. Hope this inspires struggling non veggie eaters.ViewDate:

Understanding car insurance policiesHi, I have followed you on Facebook for some time now and found the humor and type of comment you post to be just up my street. I am 69 years of age and sometimes feel that I belong to the last generation of free thinkers. You make me feel that I am not alone. Thank you.
