Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months?I'm an admin of a community group on Facebook and we are working to help bridge that gap. We are encouraging the young to put a note through the door of their elderly neighbours giving them their name and phone number and offering to do their shopping, collect prescriptions etc. We have been offered the support of a local business who will use their vans in the evening to do the shopping for vulnerable people. The support has been amazing. We can do thisViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months?I feel for you, I really do but perhaps you now need to be proactive against your loneliness. Join social media, join your local community group on Facebook and interact with people on there. Set up a chat group. With todays technology being indoors does not have to mean being lonely xViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months? We owe it to the younger generations and ourselves to do whatever we can to reduce the burden on NHS and social services. My son asked hubby and I to do this last week and we are coping - we have phones TV etc. Another of our sons has offered to use his business to support the elderly in the evenings by using his vans to do their shopping. We are British - stiff upper lip and all that. We've got this!ViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months? Some churches are already looking at streaming their services. We need to look at what we can do and what we do have, not the negativesViewDate:

Who will make the best Prime Minister?I think Boris has more charisma than any other MP from any of the parties; but this is not his time as he is not the right person for this very special job and I think having him in the leadership battle would be divisive. I respect him for deciding not to stand. Andrea would get my vote now; but I do hope Boris gets a chance in the future. Once we are 'out' I think he could be a brilliant PM.
