Should smokers, drinkers, drug users and obese people be charged to see the doctor?usually people who visit the gp a lot are in pain due to the side effects of most medications I don't think people really want to take drugs, and if there were a cure or something to replace drugs most people would take that road, so am not sure what kinds of people celtic means.. I think people who visit with gp often are usually people in need of medication, I don't think celtic is talking about drug users in clubs or on the street ... yet her comments do contradict that.. confused.comViewDate:

Should smokers, drinkers, drug users and obese people be charged to see the doctor?oh my goodness I have never heard of such uncaring and unkind words, 'put them down' referring to people like animals, there but for the grace of god go I....... even very rich people look to the NHS for treatment who could afford to pay but don't, the NHS was formed after the war for people who served our country were wounded or died I think they deserve a life of treatment considering what they went through for us, and some may have taken to drink etc because of what they had to endure, not to put everyone who drinks in a box of good for nothing people without even knowing why they do.... real knowledge is to know the extent of ones ignorance. quote..ViewDate:

Partial solar eclipse tomorrow.I have seen the red moon, starting off very low and blood red as it rises it turned pink peach to cream and usual colour , reading up about the red moon, I think in some religions it meant something evil, though I didn't see any difference ... but it was amazing to see am so glad I didn't miss itViewDate:

Should smokers, drinkers, drug users and obese people be charged to see the doctor?I have worked since I was 15 years old, I am now 65 still work.. I have payed national insurance for the years I have worked, I also get a pension and its taxed, so I have payed twice. I think it is very unfair, but I would get the same treatment in the nhs if I had been on benefits all my life instead of working and paying ni, so should I get a better service from the nhs ?ViewDate:

Should smokers, drinkers, drug users and obese people be charged to see the doctor?I think this is a diffult question to answer, we cant put all these people in the same box as they are indivisuals right? people who go into hospital time after time, need help from other bodies, they need support and to find out what the cause is. someone who drinks may have been abused as a child,so we cannot judge everyone the same some people cannot deal with loss a lot of people need after support to help yes some people don't want help and are beyond help.. drinkers and drug users wont care about paying because its an adiction .. some may turn to crime to feed their addiction or to pay for treatment and so crime goes up .. if we don't find the cause we cannot find the cure.. we use money to fight senseless wars to send bombs and guns to other countries to kill each other we build rockets to send to the moon , when we cannot even help people living on this plannet, think of all the many billions that are waisted just in this country alone .. all this money can be used better.. in so many ways to support many people overcome addictions and support many people.. i don't have any figures of the zillions that are waisted on wars, weapons, rockets and many more things . perhaps those who condemn others for their adictions could help by training to be a counillor and help in their own way .. love and peace :)ViewDate:

Stroke after effectsIRISHEYES i am sorry your husband had 2 strokes, and your feeling lost, he will feel so many emotions, like feeling worthless due to the loss of his skills he had before, and maybe under valued in general by society, his pride too will have been hurt. some people get feelings back though it takes time, and is unknown.. he will probably be feeling down also. the stroke association people will help with many of these worries, they are good people and help with things like depression though either pills or talking to a clinical psychologist he maybe needs to talk to someone who understands him and how he feels or someone who has gone through the same, the stroke association have a team of people like occupation therapists, and phychologists, and even places stroke people go to to do light excercises. they will visit with you both and find out what he needs they also help family of stroke people.. https://www.stroke.org.uk/ i hope this helps in some way,it is hard on close ones of stroke people, he is a stroke survivor .. love and peace serenity xxViewDate:

How Do Single Retired People Not Become Isolated And Alone?many moons ago I joined a walking group through a friend of a friend, we went walking over saddleworth moor, it was lashing down but soaked I enjoyed the walk, as I love nature, the friend who was also in the group chatting away to me said your really nice, I said thankyou, others chatted to me and made me feel very welcome... a man was chatting to me and this other man said what are you talking to him for, I said well am new here i guess we are getting to know each other. we ended the walk in a nice country pub, and this man said i would like you to live with me , gulp ... oh i said i just came here for the walk trying to be polite ... i left the group thought it may have been best, ha ha so am not sure why he was in the group maybe looking for a wifey.. i was there to walk i walked 19 miles, at one point the leader of our group got lost we ended up in a field. i was chased by a bull everyone was laughing saying they just saw my legs going over a wall giggling ... i think i was chased twice that day ha haViewDate:

How Do Single Retired People Not Become Isolated And Alone?my favorite poet is William blake , songs of innocence and experience , the little chimney sweeper gives an insite into what life was like in the Victorian times especially for children and through his poems I think he wanted the rich people realise that just going to church wasn't enough better to help the poor little children I think he was talking about reality and religion and how to really help and researching his period I realized that the nspca was formed before the nspcc, I think the Victorians didn't really value children as muh as pets, they used to send babies and children up chimneys to clean them and light a fire with them up there until they brought out a law.. and a little like van gogh and his paintings who wanted to free the poor people by looking at his wonderful colourful paintings, but if you mention his name to anyone today the thing they remember and say was oh yes van gogh he was mad insane cut off his ear didn't he .. its sad that people are so misunderstood and judged.. peace :)ViewDate:

How Do Single Retired People Not Become Isolated And Alone?Hello Brunhilde oh your an artest how wonderful I would love to see some of your artwork not sure where on here it would go as I am new. I have great respect for artest poets musicians. I have an open mind though I like van gogh's starry starry night, and also the song is beautiful, there are many theories about his death I read one recently that he was shot by accident by a young boy but he didn't tell the police as he wanted to protect the little boy. I guess we will never know will we... and beethovens 5th symphony was played for a group of ladies with cancer and some notes in this music killed some of the cancer cells apparently .http://hyperboreanvibrations.blogspot.co.uk/2011/03/fifth-symphony-by-beethoven-destroys.htmlViewDate:

How Do Single Retired People Not Become Isolated And Alone?Hi I guess its the persons choice to mix or be isolated if they wish, I prefere like minded people, if you find people that like what you like its ok.. there are plenty of places to go to meet people dance class gardening sport etc and walks to join they would be in your local paper or maybe online. I am very selective about people I have as close friends but can chat to people while out also sometimes its about trust and honesty too ..
