Win a wonderful holiday for two people to three iconic Italian cities!I was disappointed when I clicked on the enter button to discover that I was taken to Cosmos site and this was a way of getting a mailing list from Silversurfers. I did not enter.ViewDate:

Are you happy to get what you pay for when you fly?It is often not cheapest to add extras but to go with a quality airline. What does your fare cover if your seat, loo visit, drinks and luggage is extra? Look at Ryanair profits, we have paid for those.ViewDate:

Do you buy free range eggs?Although I buy free range eggs, I think we have to be aware that they are more expensive and many people may not be able to make that choice.ViewDate:

Is now the right time to hold a snap General Election?I also volunteer for the CAB, have done for 25 years. Until 5 years ago, in an inner city bureau, we rarely if ever had someone in who needed food because even the very poor managed to feed themselves and if they were desperate we had a Salvation Army that would provide a food parcel. Today, there are people out on the street outside our local food bank, smoking or using mobile phones, paid for with the money they would have spent on food. Our food bank put a letter in the local paper saying that they did not need any more basic ingredients e.g. baked beans or corn flakes but required more specialist items and gave a list! Many of the comments on here talk about central government money for schools, nhs or the elderly but central government has no money only what they collect from us in taxes, they just decide how to spend it. Would you like our taxes to climb? probably the answer is, if they are rich but again the top 10% of earners pay 60% of the taxes in this country, is that fair? Have you been to your local hospital recently, maybe with a splinter? as someone did here. I attended Outpatients at the end of March, the service was excellent but I attended, unlike the 281 people who did not arrive for their appointments that month. To generate a better world we all have to take responsibility.ViewDate:

Should MPs have more than one job?I am not surprised that you just cover outgoings, if you have time on a Friday morning to be sitting on a computer and moaning.ViewDate:

Should shops remain closed on Boxing Day?There is no need to shop on Boxing Day and if all these people who shop need something to do, they could go for a walk or offer their services to someone who needs a helping hand.ViewDate:

Should Punch and Judy be banned at public events?I have two Grand children, aged 14 & almost 16, both love Punch & Judy. The 16 year old runs to watch it if he sees it on a beach. He also loves Tom & Jerry ! Last year Punch & Judy was on at a local event but the violence, hitting the croc with sausages and the policeman with a truncheon, had been removed so as not to scare the kids, my two grandkids still talk about how silly that was.
