Are you having weird or vivid dreams during lockdown?I often have a dream where I am lost. I come out of a door and turn the wrong way. I am miles from where I want to be. I trudge along trying to get back. Last night, I was so far out I ended up running back. This time I was going in and out of peoples' houses. Then I dreamt I was going to see The Bachelors. They came on stage but there was no music. They had to sing with no music and Con had this piece of wood in a black bag that he used to beat on his guitar so they could sing together.ViewDate:

Is it ever ok to snoop on your partner's device?Phones to me are private things. I would not want anyone snooping on mine, though I have nothing to hide. When my ex was two-timing me, I had 3 opportunities to snoop on his phone, but I could not bring myself to do it. He did once press his mobile by mistake in his shirt pocket and I listened in for about 10 minutes whilst he just met the witch and I was able to hear everything. I was fuming.ViewDate:

Is it time to get rid of 1p and 2p coins?1p, 2p and 5p should be got rid of. I would also get rid of a £20 note. Get them from machines and shops don't like having therm unless you spend a lot of one.ViewDate:

How would you solve the NHS crisis? If people paid £10 or £20 before they were seen in A&E for Minor Ailments they would think twice about going. For years people are being told not to bother a Dr with a Minor Illness and instead go to the Pharmicist who can treat you. Too much watching Holby City and Casualty. Younger people are not taught basic First Aid as our parent taught us. All foreigners should be charged also before they are seen. We have to pay abroad. I paid 50 Euros to a Dr when I got a bug in Malta and then 20 Euros for my prescription. Some items cannot be bought over the counter, Also there is a need for respite places to be opened for patients to go for a few days after an operation instead of sending Community staff out to homes which is what is about to happen. I have been waiting 7 months for a hip replacement which was cancelled before Christmas. Last time I waited 7 weeks.ViewDate:

Is there now equality for women in the workplace? There are men who think women should be seen and not heard. There are men who think they would be better as a boss. Women are better at multi-tasking and should be allowed to have power in any type of job if they have the qualifications. Gone are the days when women are supposed to wait on a man hand and foot, men should learn to be self-sufficient at an early age.ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum? Will Nicola Sturgeon keep holding referendums until she gets the result she wants?ViewDate:

MannersI only had one child so I taught him manners. He really used to get angry as a child if people threw litter on the floor. He has had 2 sons and left his awful wife when his children were about 5. These boys were left to amuse themselves, instead of being taught manners. They were taught how to behave up a dinner table but I am still waiting to hear a please and thank you, and they are 16 and 14 now.ViewDate:

MannersMick's poem is very true to life. I kept a door open for a family yesterday at a restaurant, I got no thank you, so I said it myself out loud. My grandsons 16 and 14 - I have not known them very much because I lived away, but I have been back over 5 years now. Any birthday money and Christmas money, I have never had a thank you. Today my son brought them here. I had not seen them since September.. I gave them £5 each. No thank you. There was no conversation from them, they were like strangers. What happened to the times when children visited their grand-parents. Even my son (41) who comes to dinner once a week spends most of his time on his I-phone when he is here. I sometimes wonder why I came back home.ViewDate:

If you were American would you vote for Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?I am surprised these were the only two who the US thought were suitable to be President. Clinton will have her husband's hand up her back "working her" and Trump I think will do more harm than good.ViewDate:

Finding the right senior chat room for youI joined a few weeks ago and enjoy looking through the web-site. A good start as yesterday I had to renew my Senior Railcard. I got it for £25.50 instead of £30 thanks to having my Silversurfers card. I live alone in Lowestoft, the most easterly point of the British Isles. I use the train when, and I say when, I can get a ticket to go and see my beloved West Ham in London.
