Is political correctness in our modern society, being taken too far or have we got the balance right? What are your views? How true, I am always amazed at how many people walk past and ignore someone who has fallen over, or if someone is in distress. This is not how I was brought up, and I constantly find it hard not to lend a hand, if I can.ViewDate:

Should smokers, drinkers, drug users and obese people be charged to see the doctor? As a Health Care Practitioner, I disagree with your comment. In the case of many obese patients there is a lot more going on than the usual premise that " they eat too much" and certainly the same in the other instances. Let's stop thinking about discriminating against people in society, just because they don't fit what is aesthetically pleasing.ViewDate:

I would like to make new friends for general conversation onlyYou Hi Gglotusbloom, I lost my husband very suddenly coming up to a year ago, and I find the evenings hard with no one to share my day with. I am not an atheist but like discussing things, be happy to talk.ViewDate:

Do you think we’re facing chaos now we’re leaving the EU?Revolution takes time to settle in. Look long term, instead of at today. The vote was a Democratic one, its time those who don't agree with it got over the decision, and started to work with it.ViewDate:

Silversurfers Book Club Autumn 2016I like the sound of tThe Ballroom, but at the moment I am finishing Diana Gabaldon books. I love books with an intricate historical plot, that takes you into other worlds. Another favourite Author of mine is Barbra Erskine.ViewDate:
