Is sleeping in separate beds the beginning of the end?I moved into the single bed when I dislocated my shoulder - then when we got a puppy she made so much noise downstairs I moved her to spare room with me - then I had a foot operation so stayed there. I now have a lot of sleepless nights so dog and me are quite happy and OH can sleep quite happily as wellViewDate:

The age of the Mods and RockersI was what passed as a Mod in my sleepy town. It didnt go down well at work as a colleague was convinced my appearance would encourage the place to be over run by the Rockers!!ViewDate:

Have you encountered casual ageism?I had to take compulsory retirement on my 65th birthday - I tried appealing even wrote to my MP but no luck I was upset that just because of a date on a piece of paper I had to leave the job I loved Even more upset this year that there are now people older than I was still there I was very lucky that I did find some work and though they had the same 65 retirment policy I was the only applicant - been there 8 years now!!!ViewDate:

Do you class yourself as physically active or inactive?I am 73 - my daughter and i have 5 horses between us that take a lot of looking after - carrying buckets of water and full haynets must be good for my muscles, mucking out - walking back and forward - and I still work!!ViewDate:

Is sleeping in separate beds the beginning of the end?I started sleeping in the "spare" room when I had a dislocated shoulder as I didnt want it knocked - then when I moved back I found a) OH snored so loudly and b) he exudes heat and it gets far too hot so I was waking up through the night - so sleeping seperately just happened I also have to wake up very early some mornings so I dont disturb him - seems to work as we are about to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary ans still togetherViewDate:

Real or Artificial - What kind of Christmas tree will you have?We have an artificial one - I refuse to even think of putting up a tree till the last weekend before Christmas - and by that time most of the real ones are half dead and brown - and still expensive !9 years I bought what was then an expensive artificial one - and we still use it - tbh by the time you have the lights etc on you get the same effect with pine needles every whereViewDate:

The best of Simon & Garfunkel PlaylistI dont think I dislike a single one of their songs. I was a child minder many years ago and we made "musical instruments" to play along -favourite was Cecilia but hope the children never understood the wordsViewDate:

Should the FA defy the poppy ban?Poppies are neither religious nor political They are a mark of respect for those who have given their lives for their country. Next thing is they will stop National Anthems - though that would be better if teams actually knew the words and sang -
