Gallstones - have you had them? Thanks for the reassurance, both. When I see the pain that some people go through then that is when I think I am a wimp :-)ViewDate:

Alan Rickman's best moviesHe was wonderful as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Also liked him in Close my Eyes (not a film to watch if you are not broad minded)ViewDate:

Gallstones - have you had them?I had my first bout of pain back in the early part of 2006 and it took three more bouts before I finally had my gall bladder removed in early 2007. I have never known such pain, (I will admit to being a bit of a wimp).ViewDate:

Do you think Camilla should be crowned queen? No, definitely not, but then I don't like Charles either.ViewDate:

English GrammarI must admit that I do like to see things written correctly, but then that is just me - not everyone is the same. I know that some people might be using some form of technology with corrective spelling or, as mentioned, someone might have some problem with using their hands. The thing that really irritates me is when someone says 'you know'. If I knew then they wouldn't be telling me in the first place :-)ViewDate:

What is gluten?I am gluten intolerant, but not a Coeliac, however I am the secretary of our local Coeliac group. Since finding out about the intolerance I have changed my eating habits and cook everything from scratch and do not eat any processed food - even if it is gluten free (I am trying to lose weight as well). So far I have managed to lose three stone over the past three years. It is more difficult when eating out but a few questions to the staff of the restaurant can either reassure you or not eat there.ViewDate:

Step back in time: to 1970Loved the 70s, the music and fashions were great and I was free from living at home, having moved to Birmingham in 1970. Being slimmer back then I loved my purple velvet flares, black satin hot pants and maxi dresses.ViewDate:

This Winter is mild compared with 1963!I lived in Bournemouth back then and we hardly saw any snow (in my lifetime) until 1962/63. I loved it but I must admit I lived in the centre of the town so I was in walking distance of where I worked. Everywhere looks so pretty in the snow.ViewDate:
