reescb showcase imageThank you Wilf, I couldn't resist taking these fluffy chicks, and thought that looks a familiar pattern, it's just the zebra crossing from the Beatles album cover that is missing, and they are going in the wrong direction!. Thank you for your comment.ViewDate:

reescb showcase imageThank you Wilf. This is a park in Cardiff. It was a nice sunny day recently and the sun was catching it beautifully, I clambered down to the water's edge and was rewarded with this shot.ViewDate:

reescb showcase imageThank you Carole. Unlike many Cathedrals, you can't take photos in the main parts of the Cathedral., which is a shame as there were lots of beautiful things to capture. However, they were happy for people to take photos in the cloisters. I agree, high contrast black and white really suits the lighting in this shot.ViewDate:

reescb showcase imageI appreciate your kind comments, Kes. It was taken with a 35mm camera with a zoom lens. I was pleased with the clarity. I just shouted to him: "he's behind you!" And this is the result.ViewDate:

reescb showcase imageThank you Yodama. It is a beautiful spot on the outskirts of a pretty village and looks as though it belongs in a Thomas Hardy novel.ViewDate:

reescb showcase imageThank you Wilf. I was laying on my back, holding my kindle at an angle to get that composition with the bluebells in the left hand corner, but it was a quick single shot. I then had to run to catch up with my walking companions. The interior of the church is beautiful and there are war graves there of Canadian and New Zealand troops who had died from their wounds in the near by military hospital in WW 2. Thank you again for taking the time to comment. -
