JuneAA's bio
I love to read, hate cooking, not too keen on housework although I do like the house to be clean and tidy, love going on holiday when funds allow. I have now moved to a bungalow with a massive garden (100 ft + on a slope) so I am keen to learn all about growing veggies, salads and flowers now. -

Win ONE of THREE £50 Vouchers to spend with Ivel Valley Bird Food! This would be lovely, our garden is full of hungry birds, robins, blue jays, magpies, woodpeckers and of course wood pigeons. Costs about £15 per week to feed them, worth it for the pleasure they bring thoughViewDate:

Should Mr Potato Head become gender neutral?I agree that new things should reflect the differing genders, but the old stuff should stay as it is. This is all going a bit too far, I am fed up with hearing about gender neutral etc and mental health. It is not that I don't understand, my own daughter is transgender and I love her dearly, but she and I are just so fed up with all the media. It is the norm now but will never be seen as that whilst people go on about it all the time.ViewDate:

Would you have a fake lawn in your garden? We struggle with gardening due to age and health, but as we have a garden it must look nice and this is an easy way to make it so. Our front garden has fake grass and it looks immaculate.ViewDate:

New and fun things to do whilst self-isolatingYou can also go to Gov.uk and register yourself as vulnerable, there is a check list and they will then liaise with supermarkets and you could also be entitled to a free box of groceries delivered by them.ViewDate:

New and fun things to do whilst self-isolatingIf you go to Iceland on line there is a box to tick if you are over 60 or vulnerable, I clicked this 3 times yesterday and when I refreshed the page a bit later I got a slot for today, I have just finished putting it away. Good luck and stay safe.ViewDate:

Should over 70s be banned from voting on the country's future? What an absolute nerve ! I think that the age bracket that voted are too stupid, entitled and self obsessed to know their *rse from their elbow but I would not suggest that they should not be able to vote.ViewDate:

Would you be happy if music were banned from cars?Whatever next ? There are far too many restrictions these days, what with the nanny state and the H & S, we do need to live not just exist and part of that is enjoying music and taking the odd risk.ViewDate:

Has the internet changed the way we use language? It has made no difference to me, but I can see that many young people use different words now and even change the meaning of words. Spelling is no longer taught in many schools so they make it up. I find it increasingly difficult to understand my teenage grandchildren as their words have different meanings to mine.ViewDate:

Would you support a delay to the final EU departure? We should just get out as quickly as possible. I do not believe the horror stories about how bad it will be when we come out. It most certainly cannot be any worse than the shambles that we have now. Do it now.ViewDate:

Will you still buy mohair, cashmere, silk and feather products?I have not bought these products for 35 years since I became a vegetarian. I don't buy leather either or toiletries that have been tested on animals or contain animal products. All my family are meat eaters and I don't push my views onto them, but this is just the way that I feel :)ViewDate:

Will you shop the Black Friday sales? The goods being sold are mostly old stock that they cannot shift. This should have stayed in America along with Cyber Monday, Halloween Hype and all the other nonsense designed to part people with their money on things that they do not need (or often even want)ViewDate:

Should we be trying to look younger than we are?It depends on how you clarify "trying to look younger". I would never have plastic surgery or botox or any procedure. I do however look after my skin by moisturising, and I dress well. I also attend the dentist regularly and have good teeth. I think there is way too much emphasis on how one looks outside. More importantly is what is on the inside. -
