Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum?Great Britain is a tiny little island, fragmented defences, should the Scots decide to leave, is going to leave this island very weak in the event of an attack. Has Scotland really looked at a proper plan for defence? The Scottish regiments presently in the British army and swearing allegiance to the Queen will have an option to join the Scottish Army. Does that mean if they stay in the British army that they will then be classified as mercenaries? Can the Scottish government's proposed budget of £2.5bn support both the proposed Scottish defence force and the purchase of new equipment including fast jets and submarines? Since they don't want Trident, to move the whole operation to England is going to take years and money we can ill afford. If and when we are attacked, would Scotland's weak defences make this a vulnerable entry point? Has this plan to leave England really been thought out? As the song goes " For united we stand. Divided we fall, and if our backs should ever be against the wall We'll be together, Together, you and I. We have fought together side by side for 300 years, a split now would be devastating for not only the security but the prosperity of these green lands so loved by all. The Scots must not leave, it is a foolish move.
