Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum? But England will never be allowed to vote on Scottish independence. That's because most people down there don't a clue of economics. Just ask your self this simple question...if Scotland is so much of a basket case and needs to be heavily subsidised, then why is Westminster so desperate to hold onto Scotland.......answer...... Without Scotland's resources , England will sink, Westminster is terrified of losing us.... and that's why Westminster will never allow you to vote.ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum?yesssssssssssssssssss HMRC published the following figures: A) revenue raised in Scotland £45.056 billion B) Block grant awarded to Scotland £26.984billion C) Scotland's stated contribution to the union ££17.2 billion D) in the same year Scotland's internationally recognised waters raised , NOT for Scotland, for the UK government £469.777 billion pounds E) by the HMRCs own admission these figure do not include some £4-5 billion pounds MISATTRIBUTED to England which should have been attributed to Scotland IF SCOTLAND HAD BEEN INDEPENDENT we would have collected the £45 billion figure and kept that in the SCOTTISH TREASURY We were able to balance the books at £26.98 billion (the block grant) so our SURPLUS would have been £17billion Add to that 96% of the North Sea revenue and you get a surplus of £469billion!!! Can you all now see why Theresa May will do anything and everything to stop Scotland's independence? £469 BILLION IN SURPLUS IN ONE YEAR!!!! Scotland is a wealthy country Oh yes and before you say 'ah but oil prices have hit rock bottom' .... the above figures were produced when oil was just under $40 a barrel!!! And also note that we would have been £17 billion in SURPLUS without a penny of oil revenue!! WHY ARE YOU AGAINST INDEPENDENCE???????ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum?Stop your misinformation. The Scottish parliament was set up so that no party could ever have an overall majority. But by a miracle , the SNP proved them wrong and last time got an overall majority. At the last election the failed only by around 3 seats to obtain a majority, but they still have the most popular vote. It should be pointed out here that most Unionist MSP's were rejected by the voters, but because of the voting system set up by the Labour party( to prevent the Snp ever getting a majority) , they were able to get seats through the back door (List Seats) Thus Unionist MSP's here in Scotland carry very little moral authority. The SNP.s membership is the highest, they are the most respected party and represent the views of most of the people of Scotland. Scotland sent 59 MP's to Westminster, only 3 of these were Yoon MP.s the other 56 were SNP . The SNP along with the Scottish greens hold the majority of seats in Holyrood, they both want a referendum and they both want Independence. . The Labour party, the Tory party and the LIb /dems in Scotland are all unionist parties, are all employed by London England they do not work for Scotland. So for you to come here and tell the readers the SNP does not have an outright mandate is nothing short of misinformation , IT'S COMMON KNOWLEDGE THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE. If it was a first past the post system like in England, then the SNP would be untouchable, Finally the SNP + the Scottish Greens have an out right mandate.ViewDate:

Do you think Scotland should hold a second referendum?Typical little Englander attitude. Scotland is self sufficient unlike England. England is running a deficit of £130 billion and a debt of £1.7 trillion, any deficit Scotland has is the result of England borrowing for things Scotland did not ask for or wanted.Scotland is not allowed to borrow so how can we have a deficit. Scotland is England's greatest asset, if we are such a basket case , why is England so terrified of losing us?. Regarding the vote.... it is widely believe this was fixed, too much documented evidence to think otherwise. You also conned many Scottish voters into voting NO by telling them they could only be a member of EU if they stuck with the UK.... this has proved to be a lie. Therefore Scotland has the right to have another referendum, only this time we must invite the UN and EU to monitor and count the votes.
