Will you watch the Sussexes' Oprah interview?I am appalled that Harry and Meghan have sold their souls to the devil which is $$$$$$$$$. Whilst the part about her Mental Health was upsetting, there is no reason whatsoever to keep it quiet and release the news almost 3 years later, to have most impact, stabbing the Monarchy in the back. Meghan's comments about Archie not getting a title, were made with racial undertones. Nonsense. This law has been in place since 1917. George V, changed it to get rid of too many hanger's on. Harry is never likely to come to the throne, so no need for his children to be HRH. Archie could be given one of his father's minor titles as son of a Duke. But of course that didn't fit the bill, as with an HRH title Archie would be entitled to protection, which his parents now have to foot the bill. Harry needs to remember the rules as they stand, not allow his wife to insult the Monarchy to suit her petulant sulking. Prince Williams children were given HRH titles after the Queen granted them. They would have automatically gained HRH status when their grandfather became King, as direct heirs to the monarch and his heir Prince William. Most heartbreaking part of this farce is that Prince Harry has fallen out with those who have known him, loved him and protected him all his life. Meghan has alienated herself from her own family, so apart from her mother they have no family around them. Lots of rich friends like Oprah, but no family close by. Please Harry and Meghan, take responsibility for your own actions in all of this, and don't tear yourselves away from family. You say you are upset and feel let down by other's actions. Yet how do you think they feel about your actions? Please stop and think.ViewDate:

Should The Crown carry a fiction warning? Why is it only now in Series 5 covering Charles and Diana that this has become a problem. I have only recently started watching this programme from the start. Think it is a brilliant programme, never watched it before. I love history and I love the history of the monarchy and worried it would give false portrayal of events, but it is a brilliant series. It is condescending to say people will believe everything that is portrayed in the show. NO I believe it is more to do with interference from Prince Charles who doesn't want people to judge him. Well a little late for that, 30 years too late.ViewDate:

Should disposable barbecues be banned? When I read this I felt like saying, "Behave like Children, you will be treated like Children". Children wouldn't be allowed to use BBQ's in beautiful countryside when there is a high risk of fires through dry conditions. Stop people destroying our beautiful countryside, and the lives of our wildlife.ViewDate:

Would you support a delay to the final EU departure? The EU have NEVER been interested in discussing our plans.. They don't wan't us to leave because they love the power and control it gives them. Just like Hitler and his Nazi's they want to control the whole of Europe as a super state. OUT means OUT. They have had 2.5 years to sort this out and have done nothing but bow down to EU who keep moving the goalposts. Get out deal or no deal. We want a complete break from their corrupt claws NOW.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum?Typical attitude of a Remainer. EU laws have destroyed our liberty in the UK. When criminals are let off or treated differently because of their skin colour, race or religion. When criminals are given free legal aid to sue the prison service over upset feelings!!! When our children are not safe on the streets of UK. When our pensioners are not safe in their own homes. Our Police, our Courts, and even our Government are being controlled by EU led Left wing lunacy. We are being taken back over a century to when working class people had no rights. That is what EU membership has done to the UK. We have the best Health, Welfare, Social, Education Services in the World. Freedom of Movement has meant thousands are pouring into UK to take advantage of our wonderful services meaning the citizens who have lived and worked all their lives are robbed of vital services and money. We don't need EU membership to accept genuine hardworking Europeans to our Country, it has always happened.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? What benefits have we had from being members of the EU? Actually can't think of one benefit. We are geographically part of Europe. We moved backwards and forwards between European Countries. If they needed our skills they were happy to employ our people, and visa versa. What would have been better for UK if we had not joined the EU? Before the EU we traded around the world, we imported and exported what WE wanted from our Commonwealth partners and other countries. Our Farmers and Fishermen produced what we needed with excess being exported. We used what we grew, no restrictions on size, colour, shape. No food wastage because not up to EU standards. No further damage to the Environment by importing foods from Europe because we could not produce our own through their rules. No protectionism penalising our Farmers, our Fishermen, our Mining and Steel Industries. We had money to invest in areas damaged by the ending of these industries not the pittance EU threw back at us as if they were doing us a favour.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? You took the words right out of my mouth jorid. It is insulting and patronising to assume we all based our decision on what the main parties fighting their own agenda told us prior to the Referendum. Most of us made our decision based on what we have seen happen to UK in the 45 years since we joined the EU. We have lost our sovereignty, our Democracy, our Freedom of Speech. We have seen criminals and illegal immigrants given more rights in our country than the ordinary hardworking citizens. We have seen our farmers and our fishermen struggle to survive under EU control. Even from the early days when we saw Food Mountains, Milk Quota's, Fishing restrictions they have controlled us for their benefit not ours.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? What benefit would a second referendum have for the country? Our government have had two years to prepare us for getting our freedom back, but instead have been hellbent on trying to appease EU politicians and the Remoaner camp of MP's and former MP's who all look forward to moving to the Political graveyard of Brussels when no longer wanted in UK. They don't want to lose this because of high salaries, huge expense accounts, and protected pension for life. Doesn't take a genius to realise they are out for self-preservation and that is their only interest. We had a democratic vote and the Leave vote once. Accept it and support the country in it's attempts to get back our sovereignty and freedom to trade with who we want, make our own laws, stop the explosion of immigrants from outside EU flooding our country and trying to destroy our existence. We are Great Britain, always have been, and will be again.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? What price will they have to pay JohnC92. Our children and grandchildren will grow up freer, safer, better off outside the EU. For goodness sake in our whole history we have spent just 45 years as part of the EU, or Common Market as it was originally called. Originally the intention was a trading agreement, but slowly and gradually the Corrupt EU have taken more and more control from more and more European Countries, just as Hitler planned which led to WW2. Money that currently goes on high salaries, huge expense accounts, controlling our farms, our seas, our Laws, will be spent on making Britain Great again for future generations.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? You are so right Viking. Democracy doesn't exist in the EU. They want total domination in Europe. If you think about the history of Europe it is eerily close to what Adolph Hitler wanted which led to us defeating him in WW2. These corrupt EU Beaurocrats are trying to do through back door politics what Hitler failed to do then. Sooner we are out and free the better, as their next target is our Armed Services.ViewDate:

Should we have a second EU referendum? When we have an Election do people call for a second Election if the party they wanted to win lose? No we don't. David Cameron spent a lot of time organising the Referendum on whether we stay in or leave the EU. It was well publicised that it would be First past the Post voting system with the majority vote winning. We have wasted two years doing nothing to prepare us for BREXIT, with Remoaners throwing their toys out of the pram, having tantrums and demanding we have another referendum. Tough. This is what is called Democracy. How many of the Remoaners asking for a second Referendum didn't even bother to vote in the first Referendum? We are leaving next March. Full stop,ViewDate:

Have you been watching Love Island?I think this programme is abhorrent. What exactly is it teaching young people or anyone watching it? It is about looks, vanity, sex. This is not what we should be airing when we want our young people to develop as people believing that beauty comes from within. In a day when mental health issues are on the increase, with people suffering from eating disorders, depression, lack of self worth should we really be showing this trash on prime time tv.ViewDate:

Is 16 too young to join the Army? They would not be sent on front line services until they reached 18. By this time they would have received 2 years training and moulding them into what being a soldier really means, physical training, as well as awareness of self and others, and training in specific skills that they can make use of when they leave the army. I agree about your comments about the Cadet force. Children much younger join these organisations and it is wonderful to see them learn skills that will help them grow and develop into worthy adults.ViewDate:

Is 16 too young to join the Army? You are so right. They report an increase in Mental Health issues with young people joining the Army. This is mostly because for many it is the first time they have faced true discipline. They have grown up in what has become a nanny state where children can say, do and act how they want without being taught that Actions have Consequences. Army life will prepare them for anything and produce well rounded, well trained adults who can do anything they set their minds to.ViewDate:

Is 16 too young to join the Army? Why is 16 too young to join the army. They can work in any other job at 16. They can smoke at 16. They can become low paid Apprentices at 16. They can become parents at 16. The Army will teach them skills for life, self-respect, self-control, self-motivation. They will learn Team Work, loyalty, learn about watching out for each other. Plus the many trades they can learn in the Army. If a young person wants to join the Army let them do it and good luck to them.ViewDate:

Will the addition of Meghan Markle to the Royal Family help modernise the Monarchy?Have concerns as she is coming from a red carpet Showbusiness world to the more refined and dignified Royal Family. Hope she settles into her new role and makes Harry happy, that is all we can ask. Give her time to become a royal without condemning her. Just hope she changes her wardrobe as not too impressed so far. I am sure with Harry, William and Kate guiding her she will be an assett.ViewDate:

Does nostalgia keep us from appreciating the present?Nostaligia is important, it is talking about events, happy or sad in your past. Good to remember times from the past that you can talk to your children and grandchildren about, helps them to understand where we are today and where they are going.ViewDate:

Will you be sending Christmas cards this year?It is only once a year and Christmas Cards is as much part of the Christmas spirit as gifts and turkey. I don't send so many since retiring but people will still get a card from me. I used to collect and recycle them at the Youth Club I worked at so they were used again.ViewDate:

Should we use Happy Holidays instead of Happy Christmas? This is just another effort to destroy everything that is British, their culture, their religious festivals, their very way of life. It is Christmas, it is a time to wish people Happy, Merry or Joyous Christmas. Always have and always will. The left wing joy destroyers can go away quietly.ViewDate:

Are you a fan of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!?I think this is one of the most disgusting, sad shows on TV. A bunch of celebrity has-beens trying to resurrect their careers, fighting, bitching, crying, and doing disgusting things just to earn food. Worst programme ever after Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother.ViewDate:

Should 'INACTIVE' over-50s go back to work?Good for you ecarg. Yes that is what I am doing now. I volunteer but in a position where I can go into the centre or work from home doing Social Media publicity. I chose to volunteer because my health was being affected even more by demands and pressure of working whilst fighting health problems. I would like to do more voluntary work or even paid work if my health improves enough for me to do it but with more than one chronic condition unlikely to happen any time soon. As you say we volunteers save the government a fortune and do it because we want to be as active as we can.ViewDate:

Should 'INACTIVE' over-50s go back to work?If people have a work ethic they will work as long as they can. I had to retire earlier than planned due to health problems aggravated by finding my husband dead in bed completely unexpected. I always gave 100% to my jobs, I held 3 jobs before I retired. I didn't get enhanced private pension in fact my pension was reduced because I left before reaching 65. I had to wait a further 15 months for my State Pension. I chose to retire because I was ill, am still suffering chronic conditions and couldn't give my all to my work. If people want to work they will be working until retirement. Why don't you go after ALL AGES who could work but choose not to, It would boost the job market, and reduce the welfare budget.
