spending nearly all year indoors ,we have worn our slippers all the time .Really ,really time for new ones !!!

sadly our summer holiday to Majorca was cancelled this year so we need something to brighten us up !

Agree totally !! There will always be the ones who bluster and rant but just because they dont come to the coast doesnt mean everyone else is staying away ! We live on the coast and i have only been out for essential shopping Not seen the beach for over 3 months !! I sympathise with people who have paid their site fees for the year and not been able to come but they will get a refund or credit for when the sites open But i feel more sorry for our community who have to watch all their sacrifices trying to keep safe only to be undermined by the selfish acts of some .. Keep safe

There are such things as touring caravans !! And just because you are staying put doesnt mean everyone else is.. Even though sites have been closed and fenced off some "entitled" people park their cars up in a quiet spot and climb over the barriers We have seen this happen ..at least 2 cars been parked up outside a site since before Easter ! There are also the ones who ,even if the sites were open are too stingy to pay the site fees for their tourers and park (illegally ) overnight in a layby ..We expect an influx of tourists and welcome them because the economy of resorts depends on them BUT not everyone is as upright as you seem to be and will put their own needs first I was chatting to a lady while queuing for a shop and she admitted they had brought their tourer because they were "fed up" of staying at home and were going to stay for the summer season This was a week ago and sites are closed ,so tell me. where did they stay ?

A lot of comments on here are about "youngsters" breaking all the rules and heading to the beach I live at a seaside resort and i can tell you from experience that this is not always the case .Caravan owners (who are mostly older) have arrived in droves over the last week or so Everyone is fed up with being told what to do and where they can go.. so human nature being what it is ,,they see a light at the end of the tunnel and head straight out ! You cant really blame them BUT it would have been better to have waited a little while longer to be as sure as possible that its not making a bad situation worse On the beaches abroad there has been a concerted effort to keep sunbathers apart on the beach .It could have been done here too if the powers that be sorted it out ..We live at the coast but havent been on the beach in over 3 months ,,if we can do it so can the rest of the country !! We need tourists but not at the expense of someones life..

because the green opposite our home didnt get cut because of lockdown ,it got covered in weeds When it finally was cut all the weed seeds ended up on our lawn and now all the greenery of our lawn is "weedery" ! Its now in need of some MAJOR T.L.C

while i fully understand why travel companies want to give credit notes there are a few flaws Our travel company phoned is early in March to tell us that if we wanted to cancel then for our holiday in June it was ok and we would get a refund (minus a small deposit) but if we left cancelling till after April 30th we would probably get a credit note As this was going to be our last holiday abroad due to health reasons we decided to accept the refund as we cant be sure that we will be fit enough to use the credit note next year.The credit note scheme is fine and will help travel companies survive but also there are valid reasons why people need the refund .We havent got our refund yet as they are dealing with them in order of travel but our travel company (Coop travel in Louth ) are keeping us fully informed and we are grateful for their help at this difficult time for everyone .

we have family visiting for christmas so we need all the extra food that i will be getting from morrisons £50 would help a lot.

i shop at Morrisons every week ,this prize would be a great help.
