Are you taking part in Dry January?I don't drink alcohol, as I am taking certain medications, which are not compatible with it . Can't have citrus fruits or juices for the same reasons. Which doesn't leave much choice , so toasted the New Year in with ginger & mint tea , by a well known Tea company .ViewDate:

I guess like flu and the common cold , this virus will be around for awhile . We have to learn to live with it ., not give up things because of it .ViewDate:

Brexit - what happens next? The majority vote was leave the EU . They are now scaremongering the £ will be worth even less . Exactly like it was when we went decimal to join the Common Market 1971 the value of the £ was cut by more than half Also we didn't vote to join . And definitely not to be members of the EU . This was the biggest con ever , against the people of Britain . The ordinary hard working men and women who live here ..ViewDate:

Should this advert have been blocked? This advert has an important message to go r to everyone. That the use of palm oil in shampoos etc is causing the loss of forest . These are the natural habitat of orang utangs which are not only losing their home , but are ruthlessly killed I the process of palm oil extraction . All due to money and greed, by large corporations. Ban the use of palm oil save the orang utangs.ViewDate:

Has fatherhood changed in the last 50 years? In the 1960 s husbands were not allowed to attend the birth of their baby. But by the 70 s could if they wanted to. When my Grandchildren were born in the 1990 s and 2000 s both their parents were at the births . Also the father's take a more active role in bringing up the children .helping with feeding , making up bottles of milk , bathing dressing, and even changing nappies, which is much easier now Terry towel nappies have been replaced with disposable nappies. But lots of Mums return to work after the baby is born, than back in the 50 s & 60 s.ViewDate:

Do you support the idea of a bridge spanning the English Channel? No we don't need such a stupid idea . The Channel Tunnel was bad enough. Better to close it from our end when we eventually leave the EU. Why make things easier for illegal immigrants to enter the Country too Apart from the astronomical cost which we would end up paying. The entire thing would be a danger to shipping , in rough seas.ViewDate:

Do you feel lonely at times? We don't nerd a Minister for Loneliness on some exorbitant salary .What difference will that make , to someone who lives alone and the only person they might see all day , is the meals on wheels provider , and/or the care worker for a few minutes each day. The money should be used in having more day care centres, and luncheon clubs .We have one in our area run by the local community from the church, which is brilliant. They also have,a mini bus which takes people out on day trips or just to the supermarket once a week.ViewDate:

Have people forgotten the true meaning of Christmas? What is the true meaning of Christmas? Please don't say the Birth of Jesus Christ , because strictly speaking, that is a lie , encouraged as a belief by the Roman Catholic Church by Pope Gregory hundreds of years ago . The early Christians were stil celebration Pagan festivals around the Winter Solstice. So he declared that in future , it would a celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ, and the 25th December the service of Mass would be dedicated as Christ's Mass or Christmas as we know it. He also was responsible for the calendar of 12.months as before there was only ten months in a year December being the last .Dec is Latin for ten. This is the Gregorian calendar we use todayViewDate:

Have you changed your mind? The entire benefits system needs sorting out , to make sure the people who really need the money . The people who are diagnosed with incurable diseases should be able to receive free prescriptions even if they are working . AND SOME DO despite being so ill . The lazy and work shy , should be given jobs in the community, helping to keep their area clean and tidy, doing garden s for the elderly or infirm who find it difficult to manage. Let them actually earn the money they receive.ViewDate:
