Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?I so agree wth you. Any public debate seems to be hijacked by people with extreme, hardline views.ViewDate:

Do you feel that freedom of speech is becoming restricted in the UK?There is so little tolerance of others nowadays. Some people, (including University students "no platforming" people whose views may differ from theirs instead of engaging in debate) seem afraid to debate different ideas and seek to enforce their restrictive views on everyone. If you don't happen to know the latest "in" words you are accused of racism or other prejudice. They should read 1984 to see the perils of "newspeak" and Big Brother controlling ideas!ViewDate:

Is it realistic to expect over 70s to remain in their homes for 4 months?I am 70 and live alone. My family live 250 miles away, so who will do my shopping for me? I have no underlying health issues and will go stir crazy if I am cut off from human contact for weeks, if not months.ViewDate:

Is the UK Government doing enough to lessen the spread of Covid-19?The Government are listening to scientific advice and we all need not to panic. There will be further restrictions as they are needed. In the meantime we must all take responsibility for taking the precautions recommended. Anyone who wants to restrict their own social contacts can do so.ViewDate:

Should Theresa May stay or go?These disloyal MPs do not seem to understand or care how much damage they are doing to this country in the Brexit negotiations and are just interested in their own personal advancement. They should unite behind Mrs May to secure the best future for the country. I don't see any credible alternative to her - Boris is a buffoon.ViewDate:

Which is the most important issue for you?Voting in a Labour Government would consolidate Corbyn's position and encourage his far left supporters. He has already survived 2 attempts by Labour MPs, who know how useless he is, to get rid of him! In the meantime he could do untold damage to this country.ViewDate:

Have you changed your mind?As a pensioner, and taxpayer, I know that many of us have the resources to look after ourselves. In the past families looked after their own and didn't expect the taxpayer to keep them. The Welfare State is meant to be a "safety net" to catch those who can't support themselves, not a universal provider. Remember, there are many, and growing, burdens on the taxpayer so resources need to be better targeted. We all know the social care system is in trouble so ways have to be found to fund it better. It is all very well responding on a purely emotional level but logic is required!ViewDate:

Have you changed your mind?Having seen Labour twice nearly bankrupt this country in my lifetime I am not taken in by their attempts to buy votes with unaffordable promises. We would all be worse off under Labour and would be humiliated by Corbyn crawling cap in hand to the EU and taking any deal they cared to offer, however bad for Britain. A lot of hysteria is being stirred up over the social care proposals but at present you have to pay if you have more than £23,000 so with the £100,000 proposed, many people would be better off! (Not me, but I recognise that I should be prepared to pay my own way if I can afford to,) The Conservatives have been honest in putting forward their proposals, unlike Labour or the other parties.
