Sheila comments: “Since retiring, we have been on many trips and in the last few years we have been on several world cruises. We had wonderful neighbours, but we came to realise that relying on family and friends to look after our house while we were away for months at a time was too much to ask, so we began looking into an alternative way of enjoying the best of both worlds.
“Living at Barnes Lodge gives us the peace of mind to just lock up and leave, knowing our home is safe and secure while we are away. The Lodge Manager is on hand too, to check in on our apartment from time to time and keep it warm during any cold snaps. We don’t have to worry about a thing.”
