A Published Author

Good morning everyone. I have shared some of my poetry here for you in the past so may I share with you my exciting news of becoming a published author?

During lockdown I decided it was a good time to gather together all my poetry written over many years.   It took quite a long while to make it presentable for searching for a publisher.

But to my surprise I was accepted by Lionel Ross at i2i Publishers. To cut my story short my book called ‘On Top Of The Wardrobe A Poetry Hotchpotch’ was published in July 2021.

It can be ordered from Amazon or all bookshops and there are a few on the shelf of Nantwich Book Shop. I’m sure you can understand my excitement. I will be 78 years old later this year so never give up on your dreams.

I'm a retired cartographer. I have written poetry since the age of about 10yrs old. I started to write more prolifically when I started my divorce some years ago. Writing got me through. I have also written a couple of children's books with illustrations as I also paint in watercolours, I paint pets and birds/animals portraits in hot melted wax. I am very excited to hear that I have a book of my poems being published by i2i publishing which I am told, should be ready in January on line from all book shops. It is called On Top Of The Wardrobe.
