There’s nothing like a ride in the countryside to chase the blues away
Cute little lambs with their mams horses enjoying fresh bales of hay

Herds of cows farmers on ploughs ducks swimming in a pond
Canada geese at rest mama sits on the nest while gander surveys the beyond

Whitetail does with their babies In tow foraging at their ease
Aware of every sound ready to bound to sanctuary amongst the trees

A couple of moose usually recluse spied grazing nearby in marshy wetland
It was a gift to see such a rarity these creatures so close at hand

Signs of spring makes the heart sing travelling along a country highway
Admiring the view as it is due on a bright sunny day in May
