Each new day

Each new day, we start our lives anew,
and of things that happen we may have a different view
we awaken from sometimes a deep and wonderful sleep,
and the night before we asked the angels us to safely keep

Each new day the weather can bring us either snow sunshine or rain,
and can bring us warm cold or to our joints pain
we think of things we love deeply in our heart,
and sent love to those who in our lives are no longer a part.

But we are grateful for being alive each new day,
and when we feel happy thank the Angels for sending joy and precious memories our way
Each new day bring us possibly new memories and smiles into our lives,
no matter if we be husbands, sons daughter or wives

We try to be thankful for everything that in our lives has passed our way,
and in our hearts and minds be happy for each magical and special new day

i am a single man , as my wife passed away many years ago . I am looking to make and possibly meet new friends of both sex socially and possibly for days out? my hobbies include music, singing in a choir and playing the piano for fun and relaxation . I love poetry in rhyme and over many years have created my own even having a few used in South Africa to try to enlist people to become organ donors For awhile I had seemed to have lost interest in it and several other things due to loneliness, anxiety and minor health problems etc but now i have restarted writing and hope to create new poems, that I can hopefully use as lyrics for new songs I am a member of a Wakefield meetup group and am using this to try to help me get out more and meet new people and hopefully make now friends and find new inspiration for many things in my life? I am also a volunteer within SWYFT NHS, as I want to use my life experience and life skills to help and support other people, who for many reasons are unable to help themselves and possibly live better and more fulfilling lives. I rarely read books unless they are about self help topics
