Happy the child

Happy the child

Happy the child who runs and chases,
explores and discovers magical places,
imagines imaginings and wonders and wanders,
unpuzzles puzzles and constantly ponders…
Who while still in their room can travel the earth,
find hidden treasures and amaze at their worth.
Happy the child whose mind is set free
to ebb and to flow as the tides of the sea
Don’t label and box them, let them grow wild,
for there’s nothing more precious as the mind of a child.
