In a bit of a Muddle

We’re in a bit of a “Muck n Fuddle”
Social distancing, no chance of a cuddle…
This virus has taken the world by surprise
And we’re no longer allowed to fraternise!

If you cough don’t go out in company
Is the advice that’s been given to you and to me.
14 days of Self-isolation
Is the rule to abide by across the nation!

The Airports and Ports are all shut down
We’re in this together, try to smile, let’s not frown,
There are worrying days ahead, it’s true…
We must help all vulnerable people too.

Don’t panic buy loo rolls or hoard all the food,
It puts people in the most frightful of mood…
This is a global catastrophe…
And yes, we’re all worried, understandably.

Try to stay calm in this awful situation
We are being given Scientific information…
From the experts who are in the know…
Fingers crossed; this Pandemic will slow.

If we go into lock down in the days yet to come
Get out the Board Games… it could be fun!
Stay safe, stay healthy and let’s soldier on
Until this bloody virus is over and gone!
