Keep Calm And Carry On

Keep Calm And Carry On

It’s been over five weeks since I’ve chosen to self quarantine
Avoiding society to prevent contacting Covid-nineteen
Having an already challenged immune system the risk of mingling is not an option
My husband shops for the essentials whilst exercising every precaution

Boosting mental health is important at this time
Eating regularly is imperative with an occasional glass of wine
Light exercise definitely would improve mobility
Releasing endorphins the feel good therapy

Playing board games on line with friends and family
Is an excellent way to keep in contact and video chat remotely
Listening to favourite songs can invoke pleasant memories
Uplifting ones spirits with their lyrics and  melodies

Relaxing can often ease anxiety by reading or watching a TV show
Covered by a favourite blanket or a cosy throw
We will get through this difficult time together
by staying home and strong
Remembering the sage advice to Keep Calm And Carry On
