Knickers!

Knickers!

We all have a drawer of knickers
that range from sexy to drab.
The ones we wear everyday are
the first ones that we grab.

They are our big girls knickers,
with comfort guaranteed.
When we are out there working,
these are the ones we need.

We all have packs of new ones
waiting patiently in reserve.
And the ones when we feel skinny
and ones to fit every curve.

We all have a few best ones
edged in fancy lace.
Red and black and racy,
sexy is no disgrace.

And what about the old ones,
for when you’re feeling flabby.
The ones with little roses
that now look rather shabby.

And then the nice and normal
for when you see the nurse.
With a spare pair in a handbag
inside a big old purse.

The six pairs for your holiday,
you select those for their youth.
In case you get stopped at the airport,
(you don’t want to seem uncouth).

The ones you pick out monthly,
for when you are feeling a grump.
They hold you all together
when you’re looking for someone to thump.

And then the ones you purchased,
when you were feeling quite spontaneous.
That fit more like a cheese string
and feel like they’re going sub cutaneous.

And if you go out shopping
and end up in a changing room.
you hope you’ve put on some good ones
to show off your va va voom!

But if you are a farmer
some may be stained purple or blue
if you messed up with the spray can
the colour goes right through!
