Love Santa

Love Santa

Due to all the regulations
And coronavirus rules
I’m giving it a miss this year
Yes, I know it sounds quite cruel.

But 14 days of isolation
In each country, I pass through
Is such an inconvenience
And something I can’t do!

If I can only use five reindeer
As the rules seem to imply
They wouldn’t get me off the ground
Never mind get my sleigh to fly.

How can we all wear face masks?
As the government propose
We won’t see where we were going
If we cover Rudolf’s nose!

The only way this year you’ll see me
And I know you will agree
Is to buy a tiny likeness
And hang it on your tree.
