Mancha’s Tail

Mancha’s Tail

It’s a time of joy and cheer
So let me whisper in your ear
My name is Mancha, as you know
And I love all the people I know.
They all love me, and say I’m cute
I get lots of treats
And some even kiss me in the street.
Except for one whose name you know.

My face, I know, may not be right
It’s not ugly as you say
It’s just different, but it’s me.
So help me out this coming year
Give me praise to bring me cheer
Say how much you love me too
And I will do the same to you.

Pat Parnell
