Oh where is my wine

Oh where is my wine

Good gawd I’m tired, been up since dawn
Children excited to see the presents they got.
Turkey in oven and veg all prepared.
Table to set, oh where is my wine.

Family arrive and I must look a mess
My face is all red but I still try to smile
Get out of my kitchen I laughingly say
But Great uncle Harry sits and won’t budge.

Food on the table and everyone sat.
Digging in to all my hard work.
Then they depart off to their homes
I drop in the chair, oh where is my wine.

It’s lovely to see them and great when they go.
My eyes now feel heavy and the fire is warm
It’s been a long day but now I can rest.
Glass in my hand, cheers to you all.
