Positive Attitude for New Year

Think Positively

Now Christmas is over, with all its good cheer,
We’re preparing ourselves for another New Year.
The Coronavirus is still hanging around,
The New Year outlook does not appear sound.

With the EU behind us we’ll find new heart,
Don’t worry about it, it’s just a new start.
Of the many decisions, you made in your life,
Some have been brilliant, some have brought strife.

It’s so easy to listen, to what people say,
By word of mouth or in papers each day.
The news on the tele, can be full of woe,
There’s doom and gloom, wherever you go.

Through life’s many twists and occasional bend,
All seems to work out, as it should in the end.
Don’t fill your lives with much worry or fear,
Prepare to enjoy now a wondrous New Year.

Try hard not to bury your head in the sand,
Our God has it all the palm of His hand.
