Seagull

Seagull

I fancied some chips today as I walked along the prom.
I could taste the salt and vinegar as I strolled along to the shop.
Chips bought I sat upon a bench and looked out to sea, as I enjoyed their vinegary taste.
Two seagulls flew down and perched upon a rail.
Their beady eyes upon me, as I munched away on my chips.
I threw them one or two in the hope they went away but another 10 turned up and looked me in the eye.
I had none left to give so I got up and walked away but one flew over and pooed upon my head.
