Shall we garden?

Shall we garden?

A fresh start, I said
‘Who will dig and who will plant?
Bushes, vegs, or trees.?
Vegetables, I said.  Flowers for the Bees.
When?
In the Spring.
A long way yet.  I said.
Take the catalogues by the fire
And read and plan, so we can
Put the spade and fork away
While we wait for winter to fade into spring.
