All you ever wanted was a peaceful life
But you were cruelly taken from me, so please God tell me why?
Then I held your hands as you slipped away
Now my heart is broken into pieces
Because you were taken from me on that terrible day.

So God please don’t tell me that time will heal
And I won’t always feel this way
Please just take this pain away
Not for now but forever and a day.

And although we argued we also shared some good times too
I miss you so much now and forever and I will always love you
