Sweary Day!

Sweary Day!

Today I had a sweary day!
Now what’s that all about?
I don’t know why those sweary words
just kept on tumbling out!

I wasn’t in a bad mood,
nor even in a huff.
I hadn’t been drinking beer
or wine or any other such stuff.

It was just one of those days
I can’t explain, why I swore more than I ought to.
If mother were here I would near her say
“Wash your mouth out with soap and water!“
