The Christmas Star

The Christmas Star

What will you wish for when the Christmas star appears
Visible to the naked eye for the first time in eight hundred years
Reminiscent of the biblical star this cosmic event
May be viewed by multitudes as heaven sent

To reassure the world the importance of our significance
As we gaze upon its celestial magnificence
A bright shining light for all mankind to see
Illuminating the darkness on every inhumanity

A symbol of hope shining in the eternal firmament
From a higher power and a scriptural covenant
Let us unite and pray for our deliverance
For a healthier happier year and enlightened existence
