The Worthing Diner

There’s a lady who knows all the tearooms and quite a few restaurants as well.
Her knowledge is really astounding, in this subject she really excels.
If you want a cream tea, or a doughnut, she would certainly know all the best.
She‘s eaten from Worthing to Brighton and further afield, I would guess.

She knows a good scone from a duff one, if the cream is tasteless and bland.
Her impeccable nose for perfection is the best we could see in the land.
She knows her jams from her conserves or whether the butter is marg’.
If the food is delivered substandard she’ll demand to see who’s in charge.

Photos’ with food are abundant, in date order and now serialised.
With each cake comes another great image to add to her Facebook account.
Light and fluffy and full of fine flavour, for her, would be paramount.

There is never a dull moment to bore her as she’s now that lady who’ll lunch.
You may find her in one of the cafes, or a garden centre with brunch.
Nevertheless, she is expert in all the best places to go,
just give her ring on the off chance, I’m sure she would take you in tow….

Assuming that she’s in …..
