Virus Lockdown

Yes we are in lockdown
But we are learning everywhere
That we will get through this
Through distancing love and care

People are talking to neighbours
To ask if they’re OK
There’s queuing outside the shops
But folk are letting the elderly through
So they don’t get too tired whilst having to queue

Let’s hope when we’re Virus free
That the friends that we have made
Will continue the community spirit
Something good will come out of this sad old world
But for now continue to be kind and helpful
From a distance, we can do this
So, for now, stay home stay safe
