Which way to go …

Which way to go…

Like many folk I’m in the dark,
Where to sign and leave my mark?
The general election will soon be here,
I still don’t know, will I ever, is my fear.

Should I vote for Corbyn, believe in his spending spree,
Or go for Boris, he tells us he’s there for you and me.
Do I look at the Liberals, and their Brexit ideas,
Or follow my heart, vote Green, for their noble ideals.

This way, that way, which way to go,
My brain has stopped, it’s on a go slow.
Never have I been so undecided,
The country argues, all so divided.

Brexit is upmost in my mind,
In or out, what will we find?
What is best for this country of ours,
Who will win and be handed the powers.

The power to look after our great NHS,
The power to look after all that are ill.
Our hospitals need tender care,
Ignore this crisis, if you dare.

Our schools need help, they don’t have enough funds,
To teach our children, lessons, right from wrongs.
Our roads have potholes from, all the wet weather,
Who will do all this, and importantly who will do it better?

We need to do more about climate change, before it turns into hell,
For our planet, our future, our children, and their children as well.
All parties promise this will be done,
Is it all empty promises, barring none?

I will make a decision in time to vote,
We must all take the time to go and vote.
Never has it been such an important vote,
So whoever you believe, get out there and vote!
